RESERVATIONS
Tolerance - Due to the high number of requests, we appreciate that any delay longer than 15 minutes is reported by telephone as soon as possible. If not, your table will be allocated to another reservation.
Booking Duration - To ensure the best experience, we appreciate that all members of the reservation arrive at the scheduled time, as it may not be possible to postpone the next booking.
Table Assignment - Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee specific tables and seats, however please leave your comment recorded that our teams will do their best to fulfill your requests.
Groups - For groups of more than 8 people, the confirmation by Palácio Chiado team will be subject or contact us directly via telephone or email: geral@palaciochiado.pt
Special requests - Special requests are subject to confirmation by the Palácio Chiado restaurant.
Last Minute Changes - Any changes to the original booking request are the responsibility of the customer.
CANCELLATIONS AND FEES POLICY
Palácio Chiado has a management policy to charge a deposit for bookings starting from 7:30 PM, on friday or saturday.
The deposit value will be charged according the following information:
a) a no-show fee of 25€ per person will be charged. This fee also applies when the guest doesn’t cancel within 1h30 in advance.
b) Large groups: a variable no-show fee (previously agreed with the client) will be charged. This fee also applies when the guest doesn’t cancel within 1h30 in advance.
To make a reservation starting from 7:30 PM, on friday or saturday, at Palácio Chiado, it is necessary to provide the credit card data under the following circumstances.
During this process no charge will be made;
Palácio Chiado allows all reservations to be cancelled without payment of any cost until 1h30 before the meal; after this deadline, the cancellation/no-show will entail the charge per person;
The date of the reservation may be changed at the client’s request, always depending on the restaurant’s availability;
PAYMENT AND STRIPE ACCOUNT
Palácio Chiado is responsible for informing consumers that a third party, Stripe, Inc., was hired to carry out and control the processing of the acquisition of the services provided by Palácio Chiado;
Palácio Chiado and Stripe, Inc., are obligated to handle any personal data supplied by the client in full compliance with the applicable law;
The charge will be deducted only in case of a no-show or if the reservation is cancelled less than 1h30 hours before the date;
Palácio Chiado will supply receipts or invoices of the services provided to consumers;
DATA AND RULES
The data is supplied by the client and shall not be shared by Palácio Chiado.
By supplying this information, clients are authorizing Palácio Chiado to use their data (ID and payment information), accepting the rules anticipated in this document, and allowing Palácio Chiado to share the information with third parties with the purpose of completing and satisfying their request;
Palácio Chiado is not responsible for any loss or improper use of the payment information by third parties.
Palácio Chiado restaurant has a management policy of charging a deposit for reservations.
The rates applied will be as per below:
A credit card deposit of €70 per person will be applied, refundable 24 hours before the event in case of cancellation. The amount will not be debited from the card, only in case of no show or non-cancellation 24 hours before the event. If credit card information is not entered at the time of booking, the reservation will not be confirmed and Palácio Chiado is not responsible or guarantees availability at the restaurant in a reservation request subsequent to the 1st request.
At the time of purchase, the fixed price of the reservation is applied according to the number of people making up the reservation.
The invoice/receipt must be requested on the day of booking, in person when making the final payment at the restaurant
