LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY AND CAPACITY TO CONSENT
The guest declares that they are of legal age (over 18 or 21 years in some jurisdictions) and accepts the legal capacity necessary for the acquisition of services provided on the website, in accordance with Terms and Conditions that are fully understood.
The Shack Bar & Grill is not liable under any circumstances if the products/services are hired by a minor and the person held responsible is the minor, their parents or legal representatives, who must bear the costs and the consequences that may result from such a contract. If the guest’s responsibility to gain access to the booking website.
AGREEMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
When the guest accesses the website to make a reservation, he or she should follow all the recommendations and instructions inherent to the acquisition process, including agreeing to terms and conditions and any other forms created specifically mentioned in the acquisition process.
Upon accepting the terms and conditions, the guest authenticates the contract signed with Dano´s Sports Bar & Restaurant confirming:
• Date and time of booking
• Personal Information (phone number, email, name and surname)
• Total number of people
• Bed type selected (cabana or sun lounger)
• Payment of the selected product
• Any other specific terms and conditions relating to the service described in the booking process.
The guest agrees to confirm the veracity and accuracy of the information provided; if in the event the guest provides any false information, the booking will be null and void. Once the booking is made, The Shack Bar & Grill will email the receipt to the guest as confirmation.
No general or specific terms and conditions communicated by the guest can be added to the terms and conditions described here. In the event of a discrepancy between the evidence of the booking request and the terms and conditions, the terms established in the proof of the booking confirmation are the only terms and conditions applicable to the obligation in question.
PAYMENT AND INVOICING
The Shack Bar & Grill, has a management policy of pre-charging the selected product, according to the information below:
• Deluxe Cabin (maximum capacity 3 adults) 120€
• Lake Sunbed (maximum capacity 2 adults) 80
If the guest does not complete the booking process by completing and validating all fields (including payment details), The Shack Bar & Grill is not responsible to guarantee its availability. In the breakdown of the rate is detailed the value of the product, as well as, the indirect taxes or any other applicable rate or tax.

The Shack Bar & Grill, and Stripe, Inc are obliged to treat any personal data provided in full compliance with the law. Once you have made your booking, you will be taken to a secure and protected page/field where you will be asked for your credit/debit card details to make your payment. The cost of the cabana or sun lounger will be debited immediately after the booking is made. The Shack Bar & Grill will provide a receipt or invoice for all amounts paid by the client.
It is the responsibility of The Shack Bar & Grill to inform the customer that they have engaged Stripe, Inc. to execute and control the processing of the payment of the fee or deposit relating to the booking.
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
The Shack Bar & Grill only accepts bookings through the Quinta do Lago website - The Shack Restaurant at Quinta do Lago Resort, Algarve. The allocation of bookings is made according to availability and randomly by the management of The Shack Bar & Grill being the total responsibility of the management.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Shack Bar & Grill, establishes the following regulations in managing requests and reservations:
• Beach opening hours are from 10h00 to 19h00
• Check-in time is between 10h00 and 12h00 (if you want a different time please let us know in the reservation comments)
• All bookings will have a 30 minutes grace period
• All reservations made more than 8 days prior to the intended date will be considered pre-booked and may be subject to cancellation by the restaurant
• All reservation requests or other matters sent by email to the restaurant will be answered within 24 hours
• All reservations made through this platform are exclusively for beach services (cabana or sun lounger rental) and do not guarantee a table reservation at the restaurant. If the client is interested, it is subject to availability at the time.
• If the client exceeds the stipulated maximum capacity, the beach management entity reserves the right to proceed with the cancellation of the reservation
• Reservations will not be accepted less than 24 hours before the desired date and time
• The following number of towels will be allocated by the management entity of the cabanas and sunbeds
o Cabins, will have 3 towels
o Sunbeds, will have right to 2x towels
(If the client wishes to have extra towels, these will only be provided subject to availability and at an associated cost of 10 euros per towel).
• At check-in, a deposit of € 30 will be requested for the loan of the towels. This amount will be returned at check-out.
• If the guest exceeds the stipulated maximum capacity, the beach management entity reserves the right to proceed with the cancellation of the reservation
• Bookings will not be accepted less than 24 hours before the desired date and time
BOOKING MODIFICATION POLICY
The booking can be modified at any time via the Quinta do Lago website or by emailing theshack@quintadolago.com, quoting the reservation reference and name. The restaurant management only considers the following situations as reservation modification/change:
• Date of reservation (subject to availability)
• Number of people booked (subject to availability)
• Estimated time of arrival
The modification or change of the name of the reservation is considered as cancellation by The Shack Bar & Grill. The modification of the arrival time made by the customer will not have any change in the price previously paid.
The terms and conditions of the reservation modification are displayed during the process of making the reservation and, only with its approval is the reservation validated.
BOOKING CANCELLATION
Bookings can be made at any time by contacting Quinta do Lago website or by emailing theshack@quintadolago.com, quoting the booking reference and name. Any payment made by the client on the purchase of a specific product will only be returned in accordance with the assumption below:
• Cancellation up to 48 hours before the Reservation date - The amount will be refunded to the credit/debit card used by the customer at the time of booking and this operation will be carried out by Stripe Inc taking up to 10 working days
In the event of guest no-show without prior notice, The Shack Bar & Grill will not refund the amounts paid for a particular product/service. If the customer does not inform delays or other circumstances that prevent the check-in at the intended time, the management entity will only grant a tolerance of 30 minutes. If the established tolerance is exceeded, the reservation is automatically cancelled without refund.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Shack Bar & Grill is responsible for the management and maintenance of the space having the following rules and standards defined:
• No animals are allowed on the entire lake shore and in the area of the cabanas and sun loungers
• No food or drink to be brought into the restaurant. The Shack Bar & Grill, provides food and drink service.
• Inappropriate or inappropriate behaviour is not permitted during the stay in the restaurant and which, in any way, may jeopardise the safety and well-being of other customers or of the restaurant itself. If justified, the management may invite the customer to leave the space. In these situations, no refund will be made of any amount paid for the reservation deposit, due to the reasons mentioned above
• It is not allowed to move furniture
• It is not allowed to exceed the maximum capacity stipulated in the cabanas and sun loungers
• It is not allowed to practice sports on the sand (e.g. beach tennis, football, volleyball, etc)
• It is the responsibility of everyone to respect the environment, especially in the lake area and the entire Ria Formosa Park. If you are a smoker please let our staff know.
